- The roof materials you have selected will be delivered a few days before crew
- The roof material in most cases will be stocked on the roof if possible
- In most cases you do not need to be home during the roof process.
- Any heavy objects on the walls or hanging from the ceilings may need to be set on the floor during the roof job.
- If you have any objects stored in the attic or garage that maybe damaged from dust or dirt from the roof process, we recommend you cover these items
- We may need to plug into an electrical outlet to use some power tools. Please let us know if this is not a possibility at your house.
- Please let us know if you have a dog that may bite in the yard. We may need to access the yard for clean up.
- The shingle manufactures state that all roof nails must penetrate at lease 3/8th thru the underside of plywood. Please let us know if this is not acceptable.
- If you roof is a tear off, we only tear off what we can roof that day.
- We use only nails to install shingles Not Staples
- All lead pipes are replaced with new lead and left unpainted.
- Most homes today have 3/8ths inch plywood on the roof, this makes for a soft deck. We may have to replace some plywood on your roof but we only replace rotted or delaminated wood.
- Most residential roof we do take one day to complete.
- We recommend that all roofs be well ventilated. This may require putting in more vents then you now have.
- All jobs are bid to be do with access being from the driveway. We will have a delivery truck and a dump trailer on your drive. If this is not acceptable please let us know in advance so we can make arrangements.
- Your project manager will arrange to meet with you to give you your lien waiver and warranty papers. He can also arrange to have an invoice with him so you may take care of the balance.
- If you are having a new roof installed over the existing one, the new roof will follow the contour of the old roof. If you are having your roof torn off, the new roof will follow the contour of the plywood decking. We are not responsible for uneven rafters or structural issues.
